Helpful Software Tools that can help you resolve certain IT related issues.

 

​The Software Tools listed below we've found to be safe and very useful in helping diagnose and resolve certain IT related issues.  If you know of other helpful Software tools that we haven't yet listed, then feel free to let us know and we'll glad to check them out and potentially add to our list to share with everyone else.

  • Advanced Network IP Scanner

    • Reliable and free network scanner to analyze LAN. The program shows all network devices, gives you access to shared folders, provides remote control of computers (via RDP and Radmin), and can even remotely switch computers off. It is easy to use and runs as a portable edition. It should be the first choice for every network admin.​

  • Ping Plotter

    • PingPlotter is a network troubleshooting tool. It plots the results of internet connection tests like ping, traceroute, and jitter on an infinite timeline. The results help find bottlenecks and prove the source of problems.​​

  • Belarc Advisor

    • The Belarc Advisor displays a detailed profile of your installed software, hardware and security vulnerabilities in your Web browser. The Belarc Advisor is licensed for personal use only and is not permitted to be used for any commercial or government purposes.​​​

  • Open Hardware Monitor

    • The Open Hardware Monitor is a free open source software that monitors temperature sensors, fan speeds, voltages, load and clock speeds of a computer.

  • McAfee's Product Removal Tool

    • If you're needing to remove a McAfee related application off your PC and the "Uninstall" or "Remove" options are not working, then McAfee has their own removal tool called MCPR.exe that can help. We recommend clicking the link above and reading through McAfee's online Summary and Solution information. There are 2 methods of removal listed. The second method has their MCPR.exe tool that you can download and use.

    • It is important that you read and pay close attention to ALL of McAfee's information, regarding their tool before using it.​​

  • Norton's Product Removal Tool

    • If you're needing to remove a Norton related application off your PC and the "Uninstall" or "Remove" options are not working, has their own removal tool called NRnR.exe that can help. We recommend clicking the link above and reading through Norton's online instructions. In the instructions, you'll find where to download their NRnR.exe tool.

    • It is important that you read and pay close attention to ALL of Norton's information, regarding their tool before using it.

  • AVG's Product Removal Tool

    • If you're needing to remove AVG's related application off your PC and the "Uninstall" or "Remove" options are not working, AVG has their own removal tool called AVGClear.exe that can help. We recommend clicking the link above and reading through AVG's online instructions. In the instructions, you'll find where to download their AVGClear.exe tool.  It is important that you read and pay close attention to ALL of Norton's information, regarding their tool before using it.
